Learning to Achieve provides a unique individualized learning environment for students. Our tutoring students are assessed to find out their strengths. A program is developed based on this information to advance their current skill level. Some students make noticeable differences in just a few sessions. The number of sessions a student attends is based on their specific needs. We don’t offer prepackaged programs. Our programs move as the skill level of the student advances. When a student is not making progress, we search for other ways to present the material.
We attempt to design our tutoring program around the student’s needs not the student around the program. Often we find the student can succeed when the method meets their style. They are given as much practice as they need to fully understand a concept. Allowing them to retain more of the information.. Some of our students are diagnosed with a learning disability but not all. Our belief is that each student just learns differently.
